What is Thai Yoga Bodywork?
Thai Bodywork is a part of the traditional Thai medical system, an original healing modality with regional influences such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Also sometimes thought of as assisted Yoga, Thai Bodywork uses many hands-on techniques ranging from stretching, compression, body twists, and deep tissue massage to light touch and gentle movement with the purpose of restoring the patient's overall health- physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Thai Bodywork is part of an integrative system of medicine that also incorporates the patient's lifestyle, nutrition, fitness, and herbal compression, for a whole and healthy balanced life.

I'm Yoel
As a practitioner and personally, my approach to staying healthy, balanced, and grounded in the body includes both somatic and physical healing, alongside practices of talk, mindfulness, and connection with others.
After years of yoga practice and a lifestyle deeply rooted in body and nature - through surfing and surf instruction - I was drawn to the wisdom of Thai bodywork and its integrative approach of balancing body and mind through touch, movement, space, and an alignment to the world around us. Thai bodywork is a way of reaching places words cannot always touch.
I completed my 300-hour Practitioner Training at the Devanadi School of Yoga and Wellness, studying under Tanya Boigenzahn, a senior student of the late master teacher Pichest Boonethume of Chiang Mai, Thailand. My studies have also included Thai bodywork for treating trauma under Roni Gilboa, and Reiki I & II under Fanni Baraam.
